Bellwork: What are you doing for Halloween?
Classwork: There are two assignments due today:

1. Careers-Activity 1 (See Monday, Oct. 27th for details) Remember all answers should be in complete sentences and make your answers a different color than the questions.
2. Taking a Chance- Plato Activity Part I and Part II. (See Wed. Oct 29, and Thur. Oct 30th for details.
Call me over to your computer to review your assignments before the end of the class.
Late assignments receive a maximum of 50% credit.

Bellwork: From the Career Cruising website, what are you top five career choices?
Classwork: Today, let's take a break from what we have been doing, and return to the next Plato Lesson. Check your Plato account, you should find a the next lesson. It is called Taking a Chance. There are two parts to the Lesson,
Copy what's in green writing below, Save it as a word document called taking a chance, on your student drive, then answer the questions

Mel was looking at Want Ads when he found the chefs contest at Penguin Cove Restaurant.
1. Search the internet with keywords like jobs, want ads, or employment then find several want ads. Copy and Paste, or write out two want ads.

2. Write a description of what you think the job is about and if you would be interested in it.

3. Finally, write a want ad of your own for your ideal job. (Remember your ideal jobs that Career Cruising is helping you develop)

Bellwork: From the Career Cruising website yesterday, how can your favorite high school subjects help you in your future career?
Classwork: Log into http://www.careercruising.com/, then finish the Careers Activity 1 from yesterday.
If you are finished with that, complete the match maker activity- There are a total of 116 questions to help you pinpoint good careers for you. Complete all 116 matchmaker questions. If you finish with that, check your current grade on the wall to see if you have any missing assignments, then continue or finish those. Check with Mr. C if needed.
